In the digital age, it is ever more challenging to detect fraud, and there is more of a push to utilize electronic means of delivery. It is also challenging to establish guidelines and best practices as to when electronic document submission can be accepted and what types of online resources can be used for authentication/verification. In this session, different authentication methods will be introduced, including verification, official documents from institutions (, apostille procedure, legalization, and third-party verification services.
